This tranquil bronze sculpture by Nynke Schepers depicts two figures sitting side by side in an intimate, equal pose. Their bodies subtly flow together, creating a powerful sense of unity and connection. The pose exudes tranquility, balance, and mutual trust, as if the figures are silently supporting one another.

The rounded shapes and soft contours give the work a warm, human feel. At the same time, small, rough textures add vibrancy and depth, allowing the surface to reveal new nuances as the light moves across it. The dark patina, enriched with green hues, reinforces the timeless and serene atmosphere characteristic of Schepers' style.

Although the faces are not elaborately detailed, the emotion remains clearly palpable in the body language and the way the figures lean toward each other. This understated artwork subtly yet powerfully depicts harmony, togetherness, and inner peace, making it a meaningful addition to both modern and classic interiors.
